Please help them meet their goals. Thank you and God bless!

Way to represent Eagles!!

It was such a great game! We are so proud of our team...everyone of them played so well...but our Aaron. Wow! He was awesome!

Aaron's coach was so excited that he brought his "A" game that she told him that she expects it every game.

100 Days of Kindergarten

Walking to the car...
Russell was so excited about today's events that he could hardly sleep last night...they had cupcakes, collected cans for a food drive, 100 pennies, 100 signatures, ate lunch with Father Boni, and drew what they thought they would look like in 100 years. LOVE IT! Cannot wait to see that drawing. Today was a good day to be an SDS Kindergartener.

Nursery Rhyme Day

Today was Miriam's Nursery Rhyme Day. Each preschooler had to pick a rhyme out and recite it infront of the class. Miriam's Nursery Rhyme was called "Grandma's Spectacles" and she jumped up to say hers first. She did so well, as if we had a doubt our "ham" would have trouble.

"These are Grandma's Spectacles,
this is Grandma's hat.
This is the way she folds her hands,
And lays them in her lap."

Helping a friend say their rhyme

..."and puts them in her lap"

"This is Grandma's hat...these are Grandma's spectacles..."

Ten Years "Will Give You Such a Crick in the Neck"...

Then..

It has been 10 years since that faithful day...January 13th, 2001
1o Years!!!

This year we celebrated quietly. Jason esscorted me to my night class and afterwards we went to eat at BoneFish (which we do not reccomend as it has a Health rating of 88). It was nice not to have to rush to eat, as we had to do a lot in B'ham. We sat, enjoyed, laughed, and talked like normal dating people do...it was really nice. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our waitress, who graduated with my baby bro and his wife from McT, for providing us with a topic OTHER then our kids.  :)

Now...
This year, instead of our usual, Hot dog and Mac N' Cheese dinner for our Anniversary...we decided to take our kids to Lamberts. I had gotten a Gift Certificate from Santa. It was fun to surprise the kids with some "throwed rolls". So, thank you Santa for some good ol' family fun.  :)

Last but not least...

Jason's Birthday was this past month (December 12th)...though it was not at Pump It Up or Chuck E Cheese, as our children would have liked, it was still the "Best Day Ever" for him because...
My Parents Made him GUMBO!!!

The Nutcracker Ballet 2010

Grandma took Miriam to see her first Ballet performance, The Nutcracker. Both Miriam and Grandma said they had a wonderful time but, judging by the photos below, I think someone was a little shy when meeting the dancers up close.
